Annual Meeting
Marshfield Mo. is home to the longest running Independence Day Parade west of the Mississippi. Twice we have been honored by Presidential visits including President Harry S. Truman in 1948 and President George H. W. Bush and First Lady, Barbara Bush in 1991.
In the midst of hosting this celebration the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce holds our annual Independence Day Rodeo and Fireworks display on the days leading up to and including the 4th of July. In 2011 the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce Independence Day Rodeo attracted bull riders from Alaska to Florida to participate in our Rodeo. In 2012 the IPRA awarded the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce Independence Day Rodeo as the best new rodeo of the year.

The "Marshfield Classic" hosted by the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce will be held on June 16th 2012. It is a 2 man scramble golf tournament held annually at the Marshfield Country Club. This event has become one of the premier tournaments in southwest Missouri for golf enthusiasts.
The format for this tournament is unlike anything you will have played before with 11 par 3 holes with closest to the pin prizes on each hole and the always poplular "Par 3 Challenge" on 18 which awards the top 3 finalists in the shootout. The tournament overall pays out 4 places in 4 flights. In 2011 we had 83 teams participate.

Each year around the Christmas holiday the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Christmas Parade and Childrens Christmas Store. The Christmas store, started by Pam Cook, gives children who may not otherwise have the ability, to purchase gifts for their family and close friends. In 2011 the newly formed Kiwanis club took control over hosting the Childrens Christmas Store. The Marshfield Chamber of Commerce continues to support this cause financially and with volunteer support.
